Artist’s Bio

pkFaceCrp Philip Kreger, born in Detroit, Michigan. Attended Austin Catholic Preparatory School for Boys including seminary studies under the Augustinian Order at Olympia Fields, Illinois. Scholarship entry to CCAD, Ohio. Began working in the museum design field at Center of Science and Industry, Columbus, Ohio. Hired as exhibits designer for Atomic Energy Museum – 1974. Moved to Nashville, Tennessee to work in theater and television set production. Accepted State of Tennessee position as exhibits designer for Tennessee State Museum, 1977. Moved to Washington D.C. area to work for Design & Production – commercial museum design,1982. Accepted position as Chief of Exhibitions, Tennessee State Museum, 1984.
